Amazon AWS Growth "Reaccelerates"
Yesterday, Amazon announced its earnings, including the fact that its AWS revenue grew by 39.5% year over year.
New customer acquisition and high-profile projects seem to be a significant driver of this growth. The company reported new projects across industries spanning digital natives and traditional enterprises. These new clients and projects included Nasdaq, Meta, Best Buy, Goldman Sachs, Pfizer, and United Airlines, among others.
Likewise, the company continued to innovate, introducing 115 new services at last year's re:Invent conference.
AWS performance was a bring spot in Amazon's overall earnings report with Amazon CEO, Andy Jassy, calling it a reacceleration.
