Uniphore Secures $400MM Series E Funding in Continued Sign of Conversational AI Going Mainstream
Self-proclaimed "conversational automation" company, Uniphore, announced that it has secured a $400MM series E funding round, raising the company's valuation to $2.5B.
The company expects to use this funding to extend "advancements in voice AI, computer vision and tonal emotion, as well as to expand its business operations globally, specifically in North America, Europe and Asia Pacific."
This funding round seems to solidify the growing acceptance of conversational AI in its various forms as what will be a mainstream component of the customer and employee experience.
